Master Scheduler/Planner

Job Description:Completes a number of tasks, such as planning rules and modifiers to drive manufacturing software, planning and monitoring the cost of projects, preparing schedules with inputs from several prime contract sources, and understanding the work and time involved in planning each activity. Responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring products through the complete production cycle. Proven experience with complex planning, forecasting and product lifecycle programs. Ability to handle multiple duties simultaneously.  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Knowledge in SAP, Word, Access, Excel, AO Material Scheduling System, Outlook, and other software programs is needed. Proven people skills required, must have ability to work with others while effectively handling internal pressures. What You'll Be Doing: Identify and implement system and process improvements within the supply chain to enable overall business process improvement.  Work cooperatively to implement innovative inventory efficiency programs. Further develop existing forecast and supply programs to improve current days of inventory and cash cycle.Improve forecasting tools and procedures through application of innovative ideas and projects. Analyze inventory levels and product demands to determine reorder levels and safety stocks that will ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs. Participate in the evaluation of quotations from our contracted supplier to assure all pertinent information is available to analyze for best possible price, quality and supply services to meet our strategic needs for the product life. Review material shortages, stock outages, and safety stock levels while working with suppliers, purchasing and operations to meet customer requirements. Propose changes when needed. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
